Showers and a few thunderstorms are likely Monday across most of the state in advance of our next cold front. This one will be rather weak, however, and only drop temperatures an average of 5 to 10 degrees by Tuesday. The heaviest rain will near the I-4 corridor central Florida, with most areas getting between 1/2 and 1" of rain before it ends Monday night. Daytime highs Tuesday will range from the lower 60's in the panhandle to the lower 70's in south Florida. Overnight lows will dip into the 40's north of I-4, but remain in the 50's and 60's across south Florida. A warm-up is likely midweek before a stronger cold front arrives Friday.
