Early July weather in Florida can usually be summed up in three words: hot, humid, and stormy. This year will be no different. Thanks to a nearby front, the thunderstorms may be a bit more widespread and heavier than normal in northern sections of the state, especially Saturday and Sunday. By Independence Day, however, a more typical sea breeze pattern will evolve, with only isolated late-afternoon showers expected statewide. Outside of rain-cooled areas, and especially for inland locations, the heat and humidity will team up to make it feel like 100+ at times.
